SFWA Member Garners High Marks
Wine Enthusiast magazine, one of the leading consumer wine publications awarded high marks in the September 2008 edition for sweet and fortified wines produced by Founding SFWA Member Pessagno Wines. The Monterey winery’s NV 10 Year Tawny Port was awarded 91 points on the Wine Enthusiast 100 point scale. In addition, Pessagno 2002 Hames Valley Vineyard Port recieved a score of 88 points while the 2003 Parelli-Menetti Vineyard Port garned 85 points from the publication.
In the Dessert Wine (sweet wine) category, Pessagno 2006 Griva Vineyard Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc was awarded and outstanding 92 points by Wine Enthusiast.
